File a Found Report

Once you have filled out the form below, please follow these steps:

  • Walk through the neighborhood you found the pet in to try and find its home.
  • Post on your Facebook, as well as Lost and Found Pets groups, to alert other people of the pet you have found.
  • Take a look at these tips to help you find the pet’s home.
  • Bring the animal to HSEC for a round of vaccinations, and to scan for a microchip before you bring it back home for its stray hold. Please note: after 10 days of an in-home hold, the pet becomes your property.
    • Can’t bring the pet home to temporarily hold? Bring it to HSEC! If this is after-hours, please contact your local law enforcement to bring the pet to HSEC.
